Dr. Farran is one of the most influential people in the dental profession today. He is a practicing general dentist, an international keynote speaker, founder and publisher of Dental Town Magazine/website and author of Uncomplicate Business: All it takes is time, people and money.

Dr. Farran has been in practice for more than 28 years. When Dr. Farran began his career in the dental profession he discovered a lack communication between dentists, when dealing with their daily challenges. As a result, he created The Farran Report, which was a basic newsletter with a circulation of about 4,000 subscribers. When the internet came along, everything changed and Dentaltown magazine and website were born. Fast forward to today and, Dentaltown magazine has a physical distribution of 120,000 copies per month and the digital version is emailed to dentists all over the world. The Dentaltown website hosts 51 topics for discussion with over 4 million posts on all aspects of dentistry. The open forum allows communication between dentists from around the globe. As a result of the success of Dental Town, Orthotown and Hygienetown were created and continue to flourish.
